Slovac is a silent, portable, slow suction pump designed for continuous use in ICU/Surgical wards/paediatric wards/labour rooms. In ICUs/neonatal/paediatric wards this pump comes handy for removal of phlegm accumulations in the patient’s chest in a safe and smooth way. In labour rooms this pump can be used for vacuum assisted delivery. This pump also finds applications as a pleural fluid drainage pump for overnight use in cardiac surgery ICUs. Since the flow rate (speed of pumping) and the vacuum (suction effect) can both be varied through the front panel controls, the equipment can be used for multiple applications.
